Until the age of 29, Caroline grew up with and was educated by nuns and priests. The spiritual was experienced as commonplace in this environment and the extraordinary became very normal for Caroline. Crisis of meaning

Caroline started her career as a journalist. After an interview with Elizabeth Kübler-Ross, renowned for her insights into counseling for the dying and the grief process, she was thrown into a ‘crisis of meaning’. In an attempt to find answers to questions about the meaning of life, she completed a degree in theology. In 1983 she co-founded Stillpoint Publishing producing an average of ten books a year in the field of human consciousness and holistic health. Caroline is able to make lasersharp diagnoses using her intuitive skills. In her development as an intuitive medical healer she chose to collaborate with C. Norman Shealy M.D. from Harvard University, a neurologist interested in the science of medical intuition. They co-wrote the book The Creation of Health.

Masterpiece

Her first New York Times bestseller, Anatomy of the Spirit, gives a clear overview of the medical science that works in conjunction with energy. Caroline conducted over fifteen years of research into this subject. In Anatomy of the Spirit she describes the seven centers of spiritual and physical power and beautifully integrates the ancient wisdom of three spiritual traditions: the Hindu chakras, the Christian sacraments and the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life.

Archetypes

After her book Why People don’t Heal and How they Can Caroline pursued her interest in the language of symbols, myths, and archetypes. Her medical intuitive readings expanded beyond gathering data on health stress patterns to including the symbolic language inherent to each individual. Results of that research enabled Caroline to profile an individual's Sacred Contract, a complex of 12 archetypal patterns that reflect in mythic language the agreements the soul made prior to birth. This research opened an entirely new area of work that drew worldwide interest. Based on this work, Caroline released Sacred Contracts, which became her third New York Times bestseller. It is published in 18 languages and posts sales of well over 1.6 million copies.
