Bliz Events was founded by Liesbeth Bakker (1968). She grew up in a family that nurtured spirituality at an early age and has over 15 years’ experience in event organization. During the 1990s, Liesbeth worked for MetaVisie, organizing lectures and seminars for speakers who were then appearing in the Netherlands for the first time and are now seen as celebrities in their areas of expertise: they include Deepak Chopra, Anthony Robbins and Neale Donald Walsch. More recently, Liesbeth worked as an independent organizer for Heart Events, where she personally introduced speakers such as Lynne McTaggart and Eric Pearl.

Vision

Our purpose is to organize events that inspire people, bring them to new and deeper insights, and provide them with practical tools to take their lives to a higher level; in this way, we contribute to a world in harmony.

Social entrepreneurship and sustainability

We consider it important to share our success and to share the inspiration we make available in the events we organize with those who are less fortunate. That is why, where contractually possible, we make 10 tickets available for those who would normally not be able to afford them. You can read more about this beside the relevant event, if applicable.

This year we are supporting the Partnership Foundation. This foundation helps improve the living conditions and future possibilities of street girls in India, so that they can find their place in society instead of being exploited as beggars or prostitutes. Virtually the entire donation goes toward the children – the overheads of the foundation are only 2.8%. Ambassadors of this foundation are Sacha de Boer, Paul Rosenmöller and Gerlach Cerfontaine.
